Je recherche la simplicité (qui demande parfois beaucoup de travail). L’album pour enfants parle aussi aux adultes, d’où l’importance des différents niveaux de lecture. De toute façon, un enfant comprend toujours beaucoup plus que ce qu’on croit.

Mario Ramos (1958-2012) était un auteur et illustrateur né à Bruxelles. Pendant sa jeunesse, il a toujours aimé dessiner. Il a suivi des cours de communication graphique à l'université, avant de consacrer sa vie à la création de livres pour les enfants.

Il a publié plus de 33 albums magiques et humoristiques. Ses créatures - les crocodiles, les singes, les cochons, et les éléphants - sont aimés par les enfants et les adultes autour du monde. D'après les mots de l'auteur lui-même : « Avec un crayon et du papier, tout est possible. C’est magique ! »
