1) Is the library open to the public?
Yes! We are open Tuesday from 12pm to 7pm, Wednesday from 11am to 7pm, Thursday and Friday from 10am to 5pm, and Saturday from 9am to 3pm.
2) How do I contact the librarian?

3) When will the full collection be back on the shelves?
We already have the full adult and junior fiction sections on the shelves, as well as DVDs for all ages, graphic novels, picture albums for kids, easy readers, junior non-fiction, audiobooks, cookbooks and more! We are still working our way through shelving the history + biographies part of the collection.
4) Do you have French and bilingual magazines?
Yes! You can come and flip through, Le Figaro, Géo, Cuisine et Vins de France, L’Histoire, Jeune Afrique, le Un, Zadig, Courrier International, Lire Magazine, Le Point and L’Obs at the French Library right now!
5) How and when can I return my items to the Library?
– In person, during our opening hours
– In person, anytime through the book drop (situated on the left of the front door)

6) Where can I buy books in French for the Book Club or other events?
You can buy a paperback copy on Amazon, or try to find it on eBay, Lireka.com, Abebooks, at Bonjourbooksdc, Albertine, or on Bookshop.org. You might also be able to find a copy at your local library! There should also be plenty of ebook versions available: there is one you can access for free through your Culturethèque account.
7) Can I donate books to the French Library?
Due to a lack of storage space, we are unable to accept donation at this time. We appreciate your generosity and we thank you for your understanding. Merci !
