Dear Friends,

Now that our building is fully reopened, we cannot wait to see you back at 53 Marlborough Street. As a member of the French Library* community, you can deepen your enjoyment of French and francophone cultures in the company of fellow members and friends who share your enthusiasm.

Haven’t you been missing that handshake, hug, or bise?

Our Open House in September saw a record-breaking number of attendees and that night only, we welcomed over 40 new, first-time members who cannot wait to meet all of you.

The rich programming you expect – lectures, workshops, wine and gastronomy events, book discussions, film screenings and more – is back and we are expanding it.
As always, we make it our mission to bring you the highest quality offerings and, like everything else these days, this is getting more and more expensive. The generosity of members and friends like you makes it possible.

I would like to ask you to please consider making a generous contribution to our Annual Campaign.
Whatever amount you contribute, you will enjoy the satisfaction of knowing you are sustaining one of Boston’s cultural jewels. For example:

$50 can pay for 3 new children’s books for the library

$100 covers the cost of painting materials for our painting workshops

$250 covers the guest speaker’s fee for a workshop on bilingualism

This year, your gift is more important than ever. The stock market downturn has reduced the sustaining support we normally get from foundations. Your donation will allow us to continue offering the level of quality you and your fellow Francophiles expect!

Thank you for being our champions – and for ensuring that the French Library remains a vibrant part of Boston’s educational and cultural life.

Donations can be made online at https://frenchlibrary.org/donations. Or, you can mail a check to French Library, 53 Marlborough Street, Boston, MA 02116

I thank you in advance for your generosity, and I look forward to seeing you at 53 Marlborough!

À bientôt!

PS – Though returning to our beloved institution’s original name, French Library, we continue – and will be expanding – the range of activities you enjoyed at the “French Cultural Center.”
