Wine Seminar - Rhône

Join us in the elegant Victorian Founder's Room for our fifth Wine Seminar of the year, dedicated to exploring Rhône Valley through its wines.

The Rhône Valley, situated in southeastern France, is renowned for its expansive vineyards that thrive along the banks of the Rhône River. This region produces a wide array of wines, ranging from full-bodied reds like Syrah-based Hermitage and Côte-Rôtie in the northern part to rich, Grenache-led blends such as Châteauneuf-du-Pape in the southern reaches. The vineyards of the Rhône Valley benefit from a diverse terroir, including varied soil types and microclimates, resulting in wines with distinct character and complexity.

Our seminar promises a captivating journey through Rhône's renowned vineyards, where the unique terroir lends distinctive characteristics to each grape variety. From bold reds such as Croze Hermitage or Gigondas to Grenache-centric blends like Châteauneuf-du-Pape and aromatic whites like Viognier, our selection of wines promises to captivate every palate.

We are delighted to once again welcome Molly Stapleton, a Certified Wine Specialist, board member of the Boston Sommelier Society, and graduate of the WSET Diploma in Wines. With her wealth of knowledge and expertise, Molly will offer invaluable insights into our meticulously curated selection of white and red wines from the Rhône region, enriching participants' understanding and appreciation of this esteemed wine region.
