Join us in our elegant Victorian Founder's Room for the third Wine Seminar of the year, a dedicated exploration of Burgundy through its wines. Renowned as one of the foremost wine regions in France, Burgundy's winemaking traditions have flourished over centuries, setting the standard for excellence in the industry.

Here, an unparalleled appreciation for terroir is meticulously expressed through a meticulously curated selection of wines (high range), inviting discerning palates to delve into their complexities and nuances.

Our upcoming Burgundy wine seminar promises to be an enlightening experience, as we welcome Certified Wine Educator and Diploma in Wine and Spirits holder, Doug Schulman*, esteemed Co-Chair of the Boston Sommelier Society. With a wealth of knowledge and expertise, Doug will provide invaluable insights into our carefully selected high range of sparkling, white, and red wines from Burgundy, offering participants a deeper understanding and appreciation of this esteemed wine region.

Each month, our wine seminars will spotlight a distinct French wine region. We'll embark throughout the year on an enriching journey to explore wines from Loire Valley, Jura/Savoie, Burgundy, Bordeaux, Alsace, Champagne, Rhone, Provence/Corsica, Cognac spirits, and beyond.

All our wine seminars are presented in English.

About Doug Schulman

Doug has been a wine educator for well over a decade, with experiences ranging from being Education Coordinator and Co-Chair for the Boston Sommelier Society to conducting an extensive retail staff training program and leading many classes and seminars for consumers. He has coached high-level wine students in preparation for blind tasting exams and likes to focus on understanding classic regions through tasting. Earning the credentials of Certified Wine Educator (Society of Wine Educators) and Diploma in Wine and Spirits (Wine and Spirit Education Trust) provided Doug with a foundation of knowledge and experience upon which he continues to build. Sharing this information with others is a great passion of his.

There are no refunds or exchanges available for the Gastronomy and Wine Program events. Should a guest need to cancel their registration, their registration fee can be applied to a future class. Cancellations are accepted up to one week prior to the event to avoid loss of purchase.
