Let’s Make Goûter Online!

Parents and kids, join us for another online goûter workshop. For our special Fête de la Musique week, we are going to bake some galettes bretonnes together en français. The workshop will be led by our teacher, Maude Mastoris.

We will follow the recipe and stir the batter together live on Zoom. On top of learning new food vocabulary, we will play musical quizzes and learn about musical instruments. Be ready to make sound with your kitchen bowl and spatula!

You will need to have the following ingredients ready for the workshop:

• 200 g de farine (1 and 2/3 cups of flour)
• 130 g de sucre (½ cup + 2 TBSP of sugar)
• 125 g de beurre demi sel (1 / 2 cup of salted butter)
• 1 oeuf + 1 jaune d’oeuf et un peu d’eau (1 egg + 1 egg yolk with a bit of water)
• 1 pincé de sel (a pinch of salt)
  

• 1 bol (1 bowl)
• 1 spatule (1 spatula)
• 1 plaque avec papier cuisson (cooking tray with baking paper)
• 1 rouleau à pâtisserie (rolling pin)
• 1 verre ou emporte pièce rond (1 glass or rounded cookie cutter)
