About Arpeggione Ensemble

The Arpeggione Ensemble is known for its immersive and interactive approach to classical music, blending history, storytelling, and artistry to create unique experiences for audiences of all ages. Inspired by the groundbreaking salons led by women of the past, Arpeggione seeks to expand the horizons of the classical repertoire while fostering an inclusive, thriving community.

Their "Miniature Nutcracker" has become a favorite of the ensemble's repertoire. In Thomas Carroll's original arrangement, five musicians bring Tchaikovsky's full orchestral score to life on many more than five instruments, with plenty of delightful surprises for young and old alike. Arpeggione last performed at the French Library in February 2025 with Rediscovering Louise Farrenc.
