Meet the Artists



Julie Cavanna is a French actress and voice actress with extensive experience on stage, in film, and on television. She has performed in a wide range of productions, from classics such as Jean Anouilh’s Le Nombril and boulevard comedies like Toc Toc to contemporary works that have toured nationally and appeared at the Festival d’Avignon. Her film credits include Cloclo and Casting Sauvage, and she has also appeared in series such as Julie Lescaut, Clem, and Commissaire Magellan. In addition, she is active in dubbing, lending her voice to French versions of international productions including Fear the Walking Dead and House of the Dragon.    






Benjamin Brenière is a French actor known for his work in theatre, film, and television. He trained at Ateliers du Sudden in Paris, and early in his career took on classical roles in pieces like Britannicus by Racine, A Midsummer Night’s Dreamby Shakespeare, and Camino Real by Tennessee Williams. He gained wider recognition with Le Nouveau Testament, performed at the Théâtre de la Tête d’Or in Lyon, followed by touring productions. His recent stage work includes 4211 km, where he contributed to bringing this award-winning exploration of exile and memory to life.








About the moderator

David Miller is the Founder and General Manager of The French Theater Project, a Boston-based initiative dedicated to bringing contemporary French theater to American audiences. A life-long lover of the stage and a self-taught cultural entrepreneur, he has been instrumental in building partnerships between French and American institutions. He serves as a Trustee of the French Library of Boston and Cambridge and sits on the Board of Directors of the Lyric Stage Company of Boston.
