This course offers an introduction to the rich diversity of the Francophone world. Over several weeks, students will explore the history, geography, and cultural traditions of French-speaking regions across Europe, Africa, the Americas, and beyond. Through texts, media, and interactive discussions, the class examines how language connects communities and shapes identities, highlighting the global influence of French in literature, art, and everyday life.
