In this advanced conversation course, students will explore the many forms of French humor through sketches, comic strips, stand-up routines, advertisements, songs, and television extracts. Participants will analyze what makes people laugh, discuss cultural differences in humor, and develop sophisticated speaking and listening skills while engaging with authentic contemporary materials.
By the end of the course, students will be able to identify different styles of French humor, discuss the role of comedy in society, understand cultural references, and create their own humorous content in French.
