Have a Question?

Check our Frequently Asked Questions section to see if we’ve already answered your question.

Does my child (3-9 years old) need previous French exposure?

No, previous exposure is not required, though it can help ease their transition. Teachers provide plenty of opportunities to learn new vocabulary and practice language skills.

What level is required for teens?

Teens must have at least an A1+ level in French to join the program. We offer a free placement test to confirm their level, which must be completed a month before their program starts.

What are the steps for registration?

You can register your child online or call us to register. Any applicable discounts can only be applied over the phone; otherwise, they will be credited to your French Library account if requested by the discount deadline. A welcome packet will be sent and must be completed before the program starts – children cannot be admitted without it.

What do I do if I know my child will miss a day or part of the day?

While we’re unable to offer make-ups, we’d appreciate it if you could notify us in advance by email or phone.

Are there any requirements for toddlers?

Yes, toddlers must be potty trained and accustomed to attending a school or daycare program.
