Join us in the elegant Victorian Founder's Room for our seventh Wine Seminar of the year, 1st session, dedicated to exploring the esteemed Bordeaux region through its exquisite wines.

Bordeaux, a historic and picturesque region in southwestern France, is celebrated for its illustrious vineyards, grand châteaux, and a winemaking tradition that dates back over two thousand years.
Renowned for its full-bodied reds and sophisticated whites and rosés, Bordeaux's vineyards flourish across diverse landscapes, from the banks of the Gironde River to the rolling hills of the Médoc and Saint-Émilion.
The region's varied terroir and ideal climate conditions contribute to the production of world-class wines, including the classic blends of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, and Malbec.

Jo-Ann Ross, Bordeaux Wine Master Educator and Director of Education for the Boston Sommelier Society, will be our esteemed host for the evening.
With her extensive knowledge and expertise, Jo-Ann will guide us through a carefully curated selection of Bordeaux wines, providing valuable insights and enhancing participants' appreciation of this legendary wine region.

During the seminar, guests will enjoy tasting a variety of Bordeaux wines, thoughtfully paired with light bites.

About Jo-Ann Ross

Jo-Ann Ross, lifelong wine enthusiast, took a hobby and turned it into a career as a Wine Educator. In addition to holding a Diploma of Wine and Spirits from Great Britain’s Wine and Spirits Education Trust (WSET), she is also a Bordeaux Wine Master Educator issued by the Wine Scholar Guild. Jo-Ann proudly brought the Wine Scholar Guild’s Italian Wine Scholar™ and French Wine Scholar™ programs to Massachusetts. Various wine regions, such as Bordeaux, Napa Valley, Languedoc, and Rhone Valley, have partnered with Jo-Ann to provide educational programs for staff and customers of retail stores and restaurants. Jo-Ann is the Director of Education for the Boston Sommelier Society as well as one of the original faculty members of the Commonwealth Wine School in Cambridge
