Registration opens on the date published on this webpage and closes 8 calendar days before the exam date, subject to seat availability.
Registration is considered final only upon full payment to The French Library/Alliance Française of Boston & Cambridge. Pre‑registration alone does not constitute a confirmed registration, in accordance with CCIP rules.
The French Library reserves the right to close registration early if maximum capacity is reached. A waiting list may be established at the center’s discretion.
A testing session may be cancelled if fewer than three (3) candidates are registered. In such cases, candidates will be offered a transfer to a future session when possible. No cash refunds are guaranteed, in accordance with CCIP regulations governing session cancellations.
Candidates must be available between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. on the scheduled exam day.
The oral examination may take place before or after the written components. Final schedules are communicated in the official exam notification (“convocation”) sent by email prior to the exam date.
Candidates are solely responsible for reviewing their convocation and complying with the indicated times and instructions, in line with CCIP requirements.
Candidates must present original, valid, government issued photo identification on the exam day.
Failure to present valid identification will result in denial of access to the exam and will be considered an unjustified absence, with no refund or rescheduling, in accordance with CCIP regulations.
Candidates attest that the personal information provided at registration (name, date of birth, identity document) is accurate and matches their identification, as these details appear on the official certificate and cannot be modified after the exam.
In accordance with the official Conditions d’inscription et de passation issued by CCIP:
