Looking to improve your language skills as quickly as possible? Can’t commit to a whole course session?

Intensive immersion programs offer an exciting and effective way to learn a new language. Our Intensive One Week program immerses you in the target language, allowing you to speak, think, and even dream in it! Immersion programs emphasize practical usage and meaningful communication. Be ready for a boot camp all in French:
3h each morning for five days, focusing on oral and written comprehension, as well as oral and written production. You will study grammar, syntax, phonetics, and vocabulary in context.

The program is divided into four distinct levels: A1, A2, B1, and B2, based on the global scale of the CECR (description below).

This program offers several advantages:

• Rapid Progression: As the program is intensive, you can progress quickly in your learning of French. You will be able to improve your language skills in a relatively short time.

• Comprehensive Approach: The program covers all aspects of the language – oral and written comprehension, oral and written production, grammar, syntax, phonetics, and vocabulary. This gives you a complete knowledge of the French language.

• Clearly Defined Levels: With the levels A1, A2, B1, and B2, you know exactly where you are in your learning and what you need to do to move to the next level.

• Alignment with the CEFR: The levels are based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), which means that your level of competence will be recognized internationally.

• Intensive Interaction: Due to the intensive nature of the program, you will have many opportunities to practice French, both in class and in real-life situations.

• Confidence Improvement: By rapidly improving your French skills, you will gain confidence to use the language in your daily life, for your studies, or your work.

To sum up, our intensive week program is designed to help you master French in an effective and enjoyable way. It offers you a complete and enriching learning experience.

Our native French speaking teachers benefit from the expertise of the Alliance Française for the most effective methods of French language instruction. Our class sizes are small (max 10-12 students) providing more opportunities for you to communicate in French, creating a lively classroom atmosphere.

If you have never taken a class with us before and have prior knowledge of French, but are not sure which level to take, we ask that you complete the written and oral sections of our placement test to ensure you enroll in the right course level.

Our next Intensive week program will take place from June 15 to 18, 2026 from 10:00am to 1:00pm on Monday and 9:30am to 1:30pm from Tuesday to Thursday.

WHAT’S YOUR LEVEL?:

• A1: Absolute beginner. At this level, learners can understand and use familiar and everyday expressions as well as very simple sentences to satisfy concrete needs.

• A2: Advanced beginner. Learners can understand isolated sentences and frequently used expressions in relation to immediate areas of relevance.

• B1: Intermediate. Learners can understand the essential points when clear and standard language is used and if it is about familiar things at work, at school, leisure, etc.

• B2: Advanced. At this level, learners can understand the main ideas of complex texts on concrete and abstract subjects, including technical discussions in their specialty.

These levels are based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). Each level has specific objectives that allow learners to progress and develop their French skills. Our intensive program is designed to help learners achieve these objectives in an effective and enjoyable way.

Group Classes

We have core language classes, thematic courses and intensive programs!
If you aren't brand new to French and have some French-speaking experience we require you to take a placement test to make sure you are in the right course level.

Private Lessons

Private lessons are a great way to get individualized instruction at your pace. With private lessons, you get to pick what you cover with your instructor. You can study with a book, or focus on conversation skills and work with video and audio material. We can also specify a theme to your lessons.
