Join us for the first members-only event of 2019, which is part of our new monthly thematic series just for members. This January, come explore Les Beaux Arts with us!

Become a Parisian artist for a night with local artist Lucia Rubini of Rubiniart Gallery, who will guide us in painting one of France's most iconic scenes - the Notre Dame cathedral as seen from the Seine.*

Event in English. Limited space is available. Early RSVP recommended. Wine and light bites will be served.

*Note: Easels, canvas, brushes, and acrylic paint provided.

About This Event

Experience-seekers, amateurs, and pros are all welcome! Before the night is through, Lucia will award first- and second-place prizes for best paintings of the night. Our first prize winner will receive two complimentary lessons with Lucia at her gallery while our runner up will receive one lesson.

Afterwards, all of the paintings will be displayed in the Center's gallery from January 9-24! Of course, members can take their paintings home after our "member show."

About Lucia Rubini

Lucia Rubini was born in Bari in 1968. She attended the Academy of Fine Arts, guided by the inspiration works of Leonardo Da Vinci and her arts professors Labianca and Antonini, among the most famous in France. After a lot of experiences she moved to Boston, US, to finish studies at the Art Academy of Boston.

In collaboration with local galleries, she planned her first exhibition and sold her first artistic works. In 2010 she opened a personal gallery: the "Rubini Art", an exhibition center and a place of education for young modern art lovers, with numerous subjects, such as the equestrian environment, historical figures, biblical and a maritime landscape.

The success following the opening of the gallery, Lucia led to the creation of the "Van Vogue" show in 2014, arousing great interest among people furthest from the art world. The project was born from the idea to merge the feminine beauty with the harmony of artistic technique, to show it not only to one of the largest American cities, Boston, but also to one of the most important artistic Italian cities: Bari.
