At French Library
About
An Evening at the French Table is part of the French Library’s Gastronomy & Wine Program, an ongoing exploration of French culinary traditions, contemporary chefs, and the cultural stories told through food and wine. The Chefs
Each Evening at the French Table features a rotating chef, bringing a distinct voice and point of view to the menu. Over the years, the French Library’s kitchen has welcomed an extraordinary range of culinary talent - from chefs whose work spans Michelin-starred restaurants across the globe to celebrated independent local kitchens, including Jérôme Bégéré, Jason Bond, Katia Soujol, among others. This tradition of excellence is deeply rooted in the Library’s history: Julia Child, a former board member, remains an enduring presence in its gastronomic legacy. Together, these chefs reflect the French Library’s long-standing role as a gathering place for French culture, cooking, and conversation.
