Jeu de Mots at Bow (Market)

Members- join us for French conversation at Bow Market in Somerville!

We’re inviting all levels of French speakers to meet us at Somerville’s hottest food, art, and retail space. In the outdoor courtyard reserved for French Library members, we’ll drink wine, savor delicious mousse au chocolat from Bow Market’s own chocolatier, gâté comme des filles, and speak French! Participants will also take part in a special French-themed activity at their table.

All participants will be seated at a table of 2, 3, or 4 throughout the event. We’ll ask you a few questions as you register to best seat you. The idea is to enjoy sharing the French language and culture in person while helping you maintain your level of comfort! While we are taking every precaution to make this interaction as safe for our community as possible, we ask that users assess their own risk before engaging in this activity.

Registrations will end at noon Eastern time on September 14.

Face coverings are required when you are not seated at the table.

Price includes chocolate mousse from gâté comme des filles with a specially selected red wine pairing from Rebel Rebel wine bar. Tables of 2, 3, 4: Please note that if you register for a table of 2, 3, or 4, you will be sitting with and only with the group you created. If you wish to meet and be seated with others as well, please choose our individual registration option and answer the questions that follow. Rain date is September 22.
