Join us for two exciting workshops on the presidential French elections!

These workshops will be conducted in French by Julie Devys (April 6) and Julien Delbasty (April 20) and are intended for advanced B2+ level speakers.

April 6 workshop:
After months of suspense, only 12 candidates have made it onto the official ballot for the April 10 first round of France's presidential election. 4 women and 8 men will be battling to lead France for the next five years. From incumbent president, Emmanuel Macron, representing the République en Marche party to candidates from la Lutte Ouvrière, le Parti Républicain, le Parti Socialiste, le Rassemblement National or la France Insoumise to name a few, discover who has what it takes to move to the Élysée Palace!

April 20 workshop:
4 days away from the official announcement of the next French President! In this workshop, we will study the positions and policies of both remaining candidates and try to understand, through a series of activities, what divides the French people today. Together, we will gauge around which candidate the French are most likely to rally.
