World famous brewery Duvel is celebrating its 150 anniversary and we are honored to welcome their team at La Voile Brookline for a Belgian night full of laughter, hops and tasty food! Zach Ward from Duvel will tell us everything about the beer process fabrication, why beers from Belgium are so unique and like a good wine, how to pair them with food.

Belgium is the home of the moules frites, gaufres, bières and plats en sauce. During this beers and moules frites tasting you will learn that Belgium has nothing to prove to its French neighbor.

Included in the price, you will go home with a beer and goodies from Duvel.

Beer menu:

Duvel Single (Golden Ale)
Duvel (Strong Blonde)
Chouffe (Blond Ale)
Cherry Chouffe (Red Specialty Beer)

Food menu:
Moules frites (Mussels and fries)
Gaufres Bruxelloises au chocolat (Chocolate waffle)

All participants will be seated at a table of 2, 4, or 6 throughout the event. We’ll ask you a few questions as you register to best seat you. The idea is to enjoy sharing French culture in person while helping you maintain your level of comfort! While we are taking every precaution to make this interaction as safe for our community as possible, we ask that users assess their own risk before engaging in this activity.

Please note that if you register for a table of 2 or 4, you will be sitting with and only with the group you created. If you wish to meet and be seated with others as well, please choose our individual registration option and answer the questions that follow.

All guests must bring proof of their vaccination OR a negative COVID test result received within 72 hours prior to the event on Thursday, September 30. Our cultural manager will check them at the restaurant entrance. Face coverings are required when you are not drinking or eating.

About Duvel Brewery

It all began when Jan-Léonard Moortgat and his wife founded the Moortgat brewery farm in 1871. Around the turn of the century, Moortgat was one of the over 3,000 breweries operating in Belgium.

In 1923 the production of Duvel began with just a few crates. Today, Duvel is enjoyed literally all around the world (in over 60 countries) by countless beer lovers. The beer is still brewed with profound respect for the original recipe and the time it needs to mature.
