About this Event
Join Virginie Woo, culinary expert at CRISTEL—leading French manufacturer of ingenious stainless steel cookware—for a cooking class where she will teach you how to cook a gourmet three-course menu sans gras (with no added fat).
With demonstrations from Virginie and plenty of hands-on practice, all workshop participants will have the chance to learn the techniques that keep French cooking healthy. What you'll be making
- Gourmet Mushroom Risotto (cooked with no fat)
This elegant dish is made by blending mushrooms, garlic and onion into a rich, creamy sauce with Arborio rice. -
Coq au vin (meat cooked with no fat)
This traditional French dish is made of chicken braised with wine, lardons, mushrooms and garlic. -
Apple Tarte Tatin
This classic French dessert is an upside-down pastry made of caramelized apples in butter and sugar.

Virginie Woo started her first cooking school in the west side of Paris. After moving to New York she founded La Cooking Class where she shares her passion of cooking. Her goal is to show how to realize the most exquisite dishes and desserts in a simple and quick way. Virginie Woo is the culinary expert of CRISTEL for which she writes many recipes.
