On the Menu

  • Terre Promise - Côtes de Provence 2016 - Château Henri Bonnaud
Chateau Henri Bonnaud is one of only three producers based in the tiny Cotes-de-Provence AOC of Palette, just a few miles south of Aix-en-Provence at the foot of the famed Mont Sainte-Victoire.

  • La Grange de Piaugier - Côtes du Rhône - 2015
Domaine de Piaugier calls the Côtes du Rhône village of Sablet home. In and around this village known for its sandy soils (sable = sand in French), the Autran family owns 30 hectares of vines dominated by Grenache but accompanied by assorted red and white Rhône varieties.

  • Domaine de Monmousseau - Touraine - Sauvignon Blanc - 2015
A delicate straw-like color. Slightly musky aromas of flowers and citrus. The wine is young and fresh but keeps its fat and round character to the taste, with long-lasting note.

  • Jeanne Gaillard - La Releve Saint-Joseph - Syrah - 2013
Grown in the St. Joseph AOC, “La Reléve” shows the best of Northern Rhone Syrah. Violet in color with a minerally and fruit-perfumed nose. The wine itself is juicy, with blackberry and cherry cola on the palate. Textbook smokiness throughout bookends the experience. This is a great BBQ wine.

  • Château Notre Dame du Quatourze - Coteaux du Languedoc - 2014
This wine displays a deep garnet color. An aromatic nose mixing red fruits and spicy notes. The palate is rich, elegant and fine with a vanilla finish.

  • Le Val - Merlot - 2016
The sunshine of the Languedoc comes through in this wine's warm, soft fruit. A touch of acidity and a backdrop of tannins give it contrast and a fine, ready-to-drink character.
