About Lana Barakat

lana
After working for a multinational advertising agency in Mexico City and London, Lana Barakat returned to Boston and opened her first retail store on Newbury Street to showcase a jewelry brand she developed while working abroad. Today, she is the founder of December Thieves, with two storefronts in Beacon Hill and webstore decemberthieves.com. Lana is passionate about working with global emerging designers and makers to bring fresh, inimitable design and fashion to Boston and beyond.

About December Thieves

decemberthieves
Nestled in the heart of Boston’s historic Beacon Hill, emerging brands from independent global designers fill two locations on Charles Street. Although each store’s product offerings are distinct from each other, the overarching concept remains the same: curations from global independent designers and makers that tell the story of the artists' visions and inspirations.

About Nuit Atelier

Nuit
Founded in 2012, each NUIT collection is designed by Anastasia Ikonnikova and handmade in a downtown Toronto Atelier in limited quantities. With an emphasis on minimal production waste, natural and sustainable materials, as well as conscious design practices, NUIT rejects modern fast-fashion business models and embraces the traditional, sustainable, and ethical process of an atelier.

About Christian Restrepo

crestrepo
Christian Restrepo is a Boston-based designer with a degree from the Massachusetts College of Art + Design with a focus in Fashion Design. He is the creator of SIGILO, a body of work where all pieces are handmade, tailored to the individual and on display at http://www.chrestrepo.com/, and has been a guest artist at Boston’s Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. Christian believes in using unusual materials and fabrics in a "slow cooked" process to create objects of beauty.
