The sequel L’Appart: The Delights and Disasters of Making My Paris Home (Crown 2017) was praised by the Washington Post as “equal parts honest, intriguing, distressing, entertaining, funny and appetizing.” Both books have been optioned for a television series and are currently in development with David as the main character.
