Join us for a delightful wine and culinary journey. Every third Thursday in November, France celebrates Le Beaujolais Nouveau, and this year, we invite you to savor the 2024 millésime from Georges Duboeuf, the most renowned Beaujolais Nouveau producer. You’ll also have the opportunity to discover other exceptional, lesser-known French wines. Come mingle with fellow francophiles as you enjoy these wines, perfectly paired with a curated selection of cheeses, charcuterie, and delightful French bites from La Voile.

We are thrilled to have Nathan Derri as the sommelier for this special evening, offering a tasting and sharing his expertise. Nathan, Maître D' at Le Bar à Vins 1855, began his career in Paris with a Master’s degree in Finance. His journey in the U.S. began at La Voile in 2012, where he developed his passion for wine. Now, as a sommelier, he is an ideal wine consultant, bringing his experience and love for French wines to our event.

This event is presented in conjunction with the French American Chamber of Commerce of New England (FACCNE).

The evening will be conducted in English, but guests are always welcome to speak French.

About Georges Duboeuf

Beaujolais. Doesn’t the word alone have a magical sound to it? Beaujolais is a wine to be celebrated. Built in our family’s image, we have worked throughout the years to make Beaujolais an essential addition to every table. This wine is as popular as it is festive, friendly and joyful.

The story begins over 4 centuries ago, when the Duboeuf family was producing wine in the Mâconnais region. Georges was very young when his uncle and brother passed down both their passion for wine and their secrets of production. At just 18 years old, he preferred to take care of the family business with his brother rather than pursuing his studies.
