Atelier Découverte: Un été littéraire

At The French Library Get Directions

Stock up for the summer at our Atelier Découverte, a laid-back evening with the goal of introducing you to new finds for your taste and schedule. This month, our atelier is great for those of you who want to read more but don't know much about contemporary literature and need assistance. We will start with an overview of current trends and most acclaimed novels of the past year. We will also be available to assist you with more specific requests.

Are you traveling to Provence and wish to read tales set in that region? We may be able to help. Do you love to read mysteries in the summer? We can provide a selection. We will also be spotlighting novels which are set in the summer time.

This special edition will take place in the ballroom, where we will show videos of authors talking about their books!

You can leave with a selection to look forward to reading! Attendees can also benefit from our special summer loan: twice as many items can be checked out until Labor Day!

Language: The presentation and conversation will be in French.

Our Librarian, Marie, will guide you through a selection of materials, appropriate for the casual or the committed reader, accessible across varying levels of French. Join us and expand your cultural horizons!

No preparation is required, but we’ll be curious to hear about your coups de cœur if you have any to share!
