Foodies, let’s end La Francophonie with a culinary journey to the South! Join us for a night full of New Orleans flavor as we put a little Louisiana on your plate. The team at French Quarter has selected the best of the NOLA cuisine and beverages for your enjoyment. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to have fun and try new, delicious food with your fellow francophiles. As they say in New Orleans, laissez les bon temps rouler !

Registrations close on Sunday, March 27 at 12pm Our menu for the evening will include the following options to choose from:

Appetizer
- Small house salad, garnished with fried okra
- A cup of chicken and sausage gumbo

Entrée
- 8oz portion of shrimp étouffée with maque choux garnish
- Catfish and chips
- Half portion of our fried chicken with a side of braised greens and fingerling potatoes.

Dessert
- Beignet
- Ice cream

Libation
- A Louisiana-brewed beer
- A NOLA inspired cocktail

All participants will be seated at a table of 2 or 4 throughout the event. We’ll ask you a few questions as you register to best seat you. The idea is to enjoy sharing French culture in person while helping you maintain your level of comfort! While we are taking every precaution to make this interaction as safe for our community as possible, we ask that users assess their own risk before engaging in this activity.

Please note that if you register for a table of 2 or 4 you will be sitting with and only with the group you created. If you wish to meet and be seated with others as well, please choose our individual registration option and answer the questions that follow.

All guests must bring proof of their vaccination. Our cultural manager will check them at the restaurant entrance.

About French Quarter

French Quarter, a slice of New Orleans, opened in Downtown Boston at 545 Washington Street, between the Opera House and Paramount. The restaurant brings vibrant, bold, unique New Orleans style food to the neighborhood, in a visually stunning space filled with the sounds, smells, and welcome feel of Louisiana.

By Executive Chef/Proprietor Paul Sussman, and Proprietor Brad Fredericks, the team behind the neighborhood’s hot spots Back Deck and Fajitas and ‘Ritas, the restaurant offers lunch, dinner and weekend brunch, as well as a bar scene fueled by classic New Orleans cocktails and Louisiana-brewed beers.

La Francophonie is a vibrant and dynamic language community shared by some 274 million speakers. From Africa to America, French is spoken on five continents and is the second most learned language after English. With more than 60,000 words, it is an international language of communication used by 80 states and governments. In the United States, the number of Francophones is estimated at 11 million and nearly 13 million Americans report having a French, French-Canadian, or Acadian ethnic origin. The majority of Franco-Americans are concentrated in New England as well as in Louisiana. French, a rich and international language!
