Tony Simonneau
Orléans, France
Bio
Born and raised in Orléans (a city close to Paris, and whose saint protector is none other than Joan of Arc!) Tony always had a passion for history, literature and languages. He studied Classics at La Sorbonne in Paris (Latin, ancient Greek, French), earning a pre-doctoral degree in Latin Stylistics. He also studied at the École du Louvre (art history), Sciences Po Paris (political sciences) and the Paris Goethe Institut (German). After two years at Reporters Sans Frontière working to promote press freedom in sub-Saharan Africa, he spent most of his career in the branding industry, as a creative director and linguist. Tony moved to the US in 2008 (living first in Long Beach, CA, then Cambridge, MA) where he started to develop a taste for antique collecting and reselling, as well as to privately tutor French to a wide variety of profiles.
