At The French Library Get Directions
The launch party will begin with an introduction by the President and Executive Director of the French Library, Catheline van den Branden, followed by a speech by the Consul General of France in Boston, Valéry Freland. Then, our special guest speakers will each give a short talk on how their time studying in France positively impacted their careers. Our guest speakers include Nicholas Burns, a former U.S. Ambassador and Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs; Joseph Aoun, President of Northeastern University; Linda Mason, co-founder of Bright Horizons Family Solutions; and Bryan Jacobs, the former private chef for Anheuser-Busch family. The program will also include a short film and presentation of the France Alumni USA platform, and will conclude with a social reception.
