L'Élégance du hérisson Book Club: préambule - chapitre 2

This book club is free and open to the members with a small fee for non-members. Participants will read chapters from the chosen book each month. The discussion, recommended for all levels of French, will be moderated in French.

This book club strives to foster discussion and dialogue around a chosen book: attendees are wholeheartedly encouraged to come and practice speaking in French.

Join us for a read-along book club of L'Élégance du hérisson by Muriel Barbery. In December, we invite you to read the introduction (titled Marx (préambule)) through chapter 2:De guerres et de colonies of the Camélias section. If you have the Gallimard folio edition, this will be pages 1 - 48. Then, come ready to discuss online on the 21st at 5:30PM.

This book club is for those who regularly read en français and for those who are reading a novel for the first time! This group will meet every month during our closing. Between each meeting, participants will read a few chapters from the chosen book.
