About the Author

Jennifer N. Sellitti is a lawyer, shipwreck hunter, and U.S. Coast Guard-licensed captain. She is part of the team behind Atlantic Wreck Salvage, an organization dedicated to discovering and documenting lost ships in the North Atlantic. Her expertise in underwater exploration has led her to major shipwreck discoveries, including World War I’s West Point, the bow of M/V Stockholm (which sank the Andrea Doria in 1956), and now Le Lyonnais.

Passionate about maritime history, she serves on the board of the New Jersey Maritime Museum, speaks at international dive conferences, and runs All Aboard!, an educational program bringing shipwreck history into classrooms.
