Bio

Lucile was born and raised in Tours, France, and holds a Master of Fine Arts in Painting and Theory of Art from the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts de Paris. A longtime Boston resident, she was an art educator and French teacher at the French Library for many years. After a hiatus involving motherhood, writing, and artistic projects, she is back and eager to share her love of the French language and culture with you!

With Lucile as your guide, see France anew through the eyes of Van Gogh: its luminous countryside, its vibrant light, and its everyday life, captured from Paris to Provence in his paintings.

Summer in French for Teens (ages 12-15)

Advanced Beginner

Sessions starting July 6, 2026, August 3, 2026, and August 17, 2026 3 hours per day for 1 week

Teens learning French as a foreign language develop their language skills through engaging lessons, hands-on workshops and other fun activities in this dynamic full-immersion program.

Lead by artist Lucile Chaurin-Ablanedo, kids will have fun using recycle materials to create art projects! This course is intended for children learning french as a foreign language.

Les P'tits Ecolos - Ages 6 - 8 | In Person
