Drawing from her acclaimed book Power, for All, Battilana will explore how power works; not just in politics or business, but in everyday life, and how each of us can learn to use it more effectively and responsibly.

In this accessible and timely talk, Battilana will challenge common assumptions about power and explain how it can be a tool for advancing equity and positive change. About the Speaker

Julie Battilana is the Joseph C. Wilson Professor of Business Administration at Harvard Business School and the Alan L. Gleitsman Professor of Social Innovation at the Harvard Kennedy School, where she also founded the Social Innovation and Change Initiative.

Originally from France and a graduate of the École normale supérieure Paris-Saclay and HEC Paris, she is a dual French-American citizen and a Chevalière de l’Ordre des Palmes Académiques. Her work focuses on power, leadership, and how individuals and organizations can challenge the status quo to create lasting change.

She is the co-author of Power, for All: How It Really Works and Why It’s Everyone’s Business, published in France as Le pouvoir, pour tous !
