Originally from India, Priya lived, studied, and taught in India, France and the USA. After her Masters in French studies, she studied at the Université de Caen and worked on her doctorate at the University of Maryland. She is trained in second language acquisition and has several years of experience teaching at the Alliance Française and at the university level. Being multilingual, she has a passion for languages and cultures. She aims to help others communicate effectively and navigate different cultures which gives new perspectives on life. She strives to make her classes fun, pertinent, and interesting, and encourages spirited participation in learning. She loves travel, music, film, food, and spending time with her family and friends.
