Curated Tasting and 5 Course Dinner By French Sommelière Alexandra Charpentier of Winemak'Her Bar

Start early on your celebrations! Holidays are coming and what is better than treating yourself and your beloved one to delicious French wine and food? For our last tasting of the year we offer you a traditional French holiday meal and wine pairing from the appetizer to the dessert!

This 5 course dinner and tasting will be led by sommelière Alexandra Charpentier of Winemak'Her Bar, who has carefully selected 6 wines for your enjoyment. The food menu was created by La Voile’s chef based on Alexandra’s wines to make the perfect pairing. Alexandra will be pleased to answer any questions.

Want to prolong the tasting and bring bottles at home? Wines will be available for purchase at the end of the event.

All participants will be seated at a table of 2, 4, or 6 throughout the event. We’ll ask you a few questions as you register to best seat you. The idea is to enjoy sharing French culture in person while helping you maintain your level of comfort! While we are taking every precaution to make this interaction as safe for our community as possible, we ask that users assess their own risk before engaging in this activity.

Please note that if you register for a table of 2, 4 or 6 you will be sitting with and only with the group you created. If you wish to meet and be seated with others as well, please choose our individual registration option and answer the questions that follow.

Face coverings are required when you are not drinking or eating.

All guests must bring proof of their vaccination OR a negative COVID test result received within 72 hours prior to the event on Tuesday, 2nd. Our cultural manager will check them at the restaurant entrance.

About Alexandra Charpentier

Alexandra came to France from Avignon to create a wine bar in Brooklyn. She brought her whole family to live the American dream. She created the bar in the middle of the pandemic in April 2020, but thanks to the generosity of her neighborhood, she has celebrated her first year, and is now full of projects.

About Winemak'Her Bar

Winemak’her is a wine bistro in Brooklyn Park Slope, offering women winemaker wine from France and other countries of origin, and featuring an indoor pétanque (French popular ball sport) track. They offer wine, beer, sweet wine, cocktails as well as French aperitif alcohols such as pastis and small plates with organic and local food, to share.
