Welcome to our latest member event, Petit prix, bonne qualité where sommelier Chelsea Bell from Gordon's Wines will introduce to three wines under $15 that taste delicious too! At this event we'll review tasting notes, discover perfect pairings, and learn what to look for in a quality wine at a petit prix.

Our Wines

François Chidaine Touraine Sauvignon Blanc (Loire Valley, France)

Known for his spectacular Chenin Blancs from Montlouis and Vouvray, Francois Chidaine delivers incredible value in his Touraine Sauvignon Blanc. It's vibrant and crisp, as great Loire whites should be, but with a succulent core of fruit and layers of complexity thanks to native fermentation and lees aging. Perfect for enjoying with a range of foods including seafood, salads and of course chèvre.

Louis Jadot Beaujolais Villages (Beaujolais, France)

An easy-drinking wine made with high quality grapes grown in the southern part of Beaujolais. Soils are light, and allow a light, fresh expression of Gamay. Traditional Burgundian vinification results in a light-bodied wine with fresh, juicy character and nice weight on the palate. Enjoy with hors d’oeuvres, mild cheeses or grilled or fried poultry dishes.

Les Équilibristes Périgord Hirsute Rouge (Languedoc, France)

“Les Equilibristes” (the “Tightrope Walkers”) aim to shake up winemakers willing to craft different wines. Their set of golden rules are the following: indigenous grape varieties, organic winemaking, tillage, indigenous yeasts, minimal sulphur rates. This blend of Cabernet Franc, and Merlot is perfect with grilled fare or stronger cheeses and charcuterie.

Her signature approach to teaching wine combines unbridled enthusiasm and effortless hospitality with vinous expertise. Chelsea has traveled to many of the world’s top wine destinations including Italy, France, and California and always continues her thirst for new knowledge.
