Bouillon de Lectures: Une femme, des histoires

At The French Library Get Directions

In October, we invite you to discover the life and writings of a female author, writer, muse, or poet for our monthly book club, Bouillon de lectures. Choose a biography, an autobiography, a novel with a central female character, or simply a book written in French by a woman writer. Come ready to discuss your choice and to discuss feminism in fiction today.

This book club is free and open to the public. Participants read a book of their choice related to each month's theme. The discussion, recommended for intermediate (B1/B2) to advanced speakers, will be moderated in French.

This informal book club strives to foster discussion and dialogue around a love of literature: attendees are wholeheartedly encouraged to come and practice speaking in French. Interested in a more structured literature class? Try our monthly workshops, like Un Mois, Un Livre.

Free and open to the public. This book club is intended for high intermediate to advanced (B2+) and native French speakers.
