Rediscover the Boston Public Garden and Surrounding Area through the French Lens

Your favorite summer activity is back!

Interested in discovering French inspiration in the Boston Public Garden and the surrounding area?  Join guide Steven Galante for a one-hour morning stroll en français followed by a private reception at the French Library. The tour will begin at the entrance of the Public Garden where Marlborough Street meets Arlington Street. We then will explore both the Public Garden and the Boston Common, discussing the history, monuments, people and stories related to all. From the Common, we will make a short detour to visit Louisburg Square on Beacon Hill. 

The visit will end at the French Library where a glass of rosé and savory snacks will be offered.

Please be ready at the meeting point at 9:50 a.m. so the tour can begin at 10:00 a.m. sharp. 

Meeting point: The entrance of the Public Garden where Marlborough Street meets Arlington Street. Bring your own bottled water, and be sure to wear a pair of comfortable shoes!
