About Michel et Augustin

Michel et Augustin was founded in Paris in 2004 by Augustin Paluel-Marmont and Michel de Rovira. The lifelong friends left successful careers to set out on an adventure to make great tasting cookies by being real and truthful while using simple, high quality ingredients. With that attitude - and a reputation for challenging convention - the duo quickly established themselves as the “Troublemakers of Taste” (“les trublions du goût”). In 2015, they brought their unique approach to snacking to the US. And they have a VERY Important announcement – their Cookie Squares are now available at Whole Foods Market nationwide!

About Maela and Lily

MAELA CONAN – has been the Designer at Michel et Augustin for five years – she spent four years in the French tribe, and moved to Brooklyn one year ago to help grow the US adventure! Great timing! She has her C.A.P. Pâtissier in France, meaning she is pastry-certified, and she makes a mean puff pastry. She can’t resist a croissant, and the last dessert she made was a blueberry cheesecake tart. Fun fact: she also has a passion for peanut butter.

LILY DIONNE-JERMANOVICH – is the Canadian-American who has been the Marketing Magician at Michel et Augustin for the last four years. She recruited a CEO in the subway, she did 9 months of pastry training, and she’s never met a tart she didn’t like. The last pastry she made was a peach-basil galette. It was possibly the best thing she’s ever made.
