About this Class

In this class, we invite you to travel through time and learn more about five important events that took place in 1944 and 1945 and brought an end to WWII. While discussing history, you will learn more about French culture and civilization, and improve your conversational skills, and grammar!

Here are the five events that will be covered for this session:
  • June 1944 - D Day
  • August 1944 - Liberation of Paris and French territory
  • January / February 1945 - Liberation of concentration camps
  • February 1945 - the Yalta Agreements
  • May 1945 - German capitulation
