About this Class

Our core language classes will strengthen your French through speaking, writing and comprehension activities while providing insights into Francophone culture. Our teachers and curriculum use cutting-edge methods and resources to expand your skills and increase your confidence in French. With full immersion from day one and a communicative, task-based approach you'll gain a deeper understanding of the French language and Francophone world!

Required: B1-4 or equivalent. Prepare for CECR B1

Content you will cover in Unit 10: « Du neuf dans les loisirs »

Know how to: Elaborate; request and give confirmation; describe a social trend; describe things; enhance arguments.

Grammar: Indirect speech in the present tense; compound relative pronouns; conditional and uncertainty.

Society and culture: Board games; an immersive exhibition in Geneva.

Vocabulary: Sports and physical activities; digital technologies; games and technical innovation.

Pronunciation: The sounds [i], [y], [u].

Content you will cover in Unit 11: « Se mettre en scène»

Know how to: Ask what to do; make suggestions; warn and be wary; talk about a show or an event.

Grammar: Supplementary time indicators; the comparative; indirect speech with past tenses.

Society and culture: Fulfilling oneself through improv; creating art to celebrate one’s origins in Ivory Coast.
