About Notre Dame de Paris
We are in Paris, in 1482. The beautiful bohemian Esmeralda dances in the streets to the sound of a tambourine. Her youth and beauty attracted the attention of many men: the archdeacon of Notre-Dame, the captain of the archers, Phoebus de Châteaupers, the poet Pierre Gringoire who became her husband. Quasimodo, the bell ringer of the cathedral, a poor, hunchbacked, one-eyed and deaf man, is also very much in love with her...But who is this beautiful Esmeralda? And how does she respond to the love of these men?
