Colonel Chabert died at the Battle of Eylau. However, a few years later, when a man comes to ask Master Derville for help, he claims to be the colonel and wants to find his wife and his fortune...
Communicative and linguistic objectives:
- Develop listening comprehension, using audio tracks provided by the instructor
- Check global understanding of each chapter
- Work on creative writing workshops during and outside of class
- Read the play out loud (intonation, pronunciation)
- Discuss character profile and various themes
