Au revoir,

Working at the French Library of Boston and Cambridge for the past five years has been an incredible journey that I will always cherish. Unfortunately, after more than five wonderful years, the time has come for me to say goodbye and move back to France. It is with a heavy heart that I bid adieu to the city I call home and the job that has brought me immense joy.

I am genuinely grateful for the opportunity to share my love for French and Francophone culture with our members, colleagues, and partners and for our connections.

Over the past five years, we have celebrated countless events together – our lively Bastille Day celebrations, author and art talks, wine tastings, concerts, cooking and baking workshops, and art exhibitions (to name a few!) highlighting the diversity and richness of French and Francophone culture. Each event has been a unique and memorable experience (even on Zoom!), and I feel privileged to have been a part of these moments with you all.

Though my departure is bittersweet, I am excited about the future of the French Library. Undoubtedly, it will continue to thrive as a hub for French culture and language, and I am confident that my successor will bring the same passion and dedication to the role as I have.

Before I go, I want to extend my deepest gratitude to all of you who have been a part of my journey. Your enthusiasm and support have made my time in Boston truly unforgettable. As I embark on the next chapter of my life in France, I will carry your friendship and the spirit of the French Library in my heart. You, members, teammates, and partners make the French Library an inspiring, welcoming, and fun workplace. We have still four upcoming events to catch up, I hope to see you there!

Au revoir, merci pour ces merveilleux souvenirs. May our paths cross again someday.

Sincèrement,

Clémence
