The Mosaïque Committee of the French Library of Boston presented world-renowned French pianist Jean-Yves Thibaudet with the first-ever Mosaïque Award for Exceptional Achievement. The award is conferred to an individual who has excelled in the humanities, the sciences, or the public interest, and who reflects the humanitarian spirit of French culture. Mr. Thibaudet was honored at an awards ceremony at the Center on March 23 by Boston Symphony Orchestra Artistic Director Anthony Fogg and board members, Mosaïque Committee Chairs Barbara (Suki) de Bragança and Martha Volpe, Executive Director Barbara Bouquegneau, and President of the Board Steven Galante.
